Two days later, I am still in total shock and dismay that we have elected Donald Trump to be the 45th president of the United States...but he will never be my president.
1.) I am so proud of all the people protesting against this hateful bigot and letting the world know that half of America does not agree with or condone the things he has said about Muslims, Mexicans, Women, or African-Americans.
2.) An article about the inspiring concession speech Hillary made with some truly moving pictures of her supporters feeling the loss.
3.) A Cup of Jo made a nice compilation of ways to cope and help.
*I do not agree with the homogenization of politics or keeping career politicians on a continuous loop of power, but the election of Donald Trump to be the carrier of this message was an un-thought out, knee-jerk reaction to "elitist" politics and now we have a totally unqualified & hateful narcissist running our country. It is just not okay to say the venomous things he has said and be endorsed by any rational, kind human-being. Women deserve better. Minorities deserve better. Our country deserves better. The world deserves better. Go out and support the things Trump hates.*
